Dingdong Dantes attends rumored girlfriend Marian Rivera's birthday party

Dingdong Dantes braved fatigue and flu to grace Marian Rivera's birthday party. The rumored lovers are now a bit open in expressing their fondness for each other.

Actions certainly could paint a thousand words.

Letting their body language do the entire talking, GMA-7's Primetime Queen Marian Rivera and rumored boyfriend Dingdong Dantes were inseparable and looked every inch like a smitten couple at the belated birthday party of the Darna lead star held last night, August 20, at the Imperial Palace Suites on Tomas Morato, Quezon City.

Marian turned 25 last August 12.

Regal matriarch Mother Lily Monteverde hosted the special occasion following the press conference of Marian's upcoming horror-suspense movie, Tarot, co-starring Dennis Trillo and Roxanne Guinoo.

Marian and Dingdong--who worked together in the primetime series MariMar, Dyesebel, and Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang--openly held hands throughout the evening. The rumored couple was also caught by our cameras oftentimes exchanging sweet nothings with one another.

"Basta maging happy lang at makaya kung anumang pagsubok, di ba? Tsaka 'yong family ko maging healthy and, of course, sa amin pa rin ni Dong [sana] maging happy pa rin kami," said Marian about her birthday wish.

Marian confessed that Dingdong drove outside Manila last August 12 (Marian's actual birthday) to personally invite her for dinner: "Happy ako na pinuntahan niya ko sa taping [ng Darna] kahit ang layo ng Plaridel, Bulacan."

And last night, not even a slight case of flu could stop Dingdong from attending a special event intended for Marian. Dingdong--who is gearing up for the release of YES! Life Stories--arrived straight from a rehearsal at around eleven in the evening. The hunky actor gamely dedicated the song "Narda" to Marian before settling himself comfortably beside the beaming Darna lead star.

The evening ended with Dingdong and Marian leaving the venue together hand-in-hand, unmindful of all the awestruck bystanders calling out their names.
