ACTOR Dingdong Dantes looks like he's having so much fun with the company of rumored girlfriend Marian Rivera. MANILA. Dingdong Dantes believes his relationship with Marian Rivera will change as they take on separate projects in GMA-7 this year. (Jill Beltran)

In the recent interview with the actor, he revealed that he is "very happy" as he spends time with Marian more often and gets to know her deeper.

"I am very very happy...and it seems we have no problem at all...," he said when asked how his relationship with Marian is doing.

But Dingdong worriedly continued that this happiness could change eventually. He considered the fact that taking separate careers could affect their relationship.

"We will be doing separate projects. I know she will change and there will be changes because we are not working together anymore. But it will make it better because (I believe) the strength of a relationship is measured if two persons are far from each other," he said.

Dingdong will be doing his solo lead role as Cholo in "Stairway to Heaven" while Marian will be flying as the newest "Darna" on local television.

But while their shows have yet to begin, the two are trying to maximize the time they have for each other. They have been spotted hanging out in malls and restaurants so sweet that onlookers have seen them doing PDA (public display of affection).

"PDA depends on the people who see it. If he is quite conservative, a little gesture could mean a lot to him, even being a gentleman, he could misinterpret it. It really depends on who sees you," he explained.

Although they are seen displaying sweetness off and on-cam, Dingdong and Marian have yet to disclose in public what is the real status between them.

Dingdong said that what he has with Marian "is beyond admitting anything." He is just looking at greater things to happen between them as partners and as individuals.

"She is the most important person in my life now. More important than any other person in my life aside from my mom and my family," he said, adding that her parents seem to like Marian also.

Asked what he likes about Marian the most, "What I like about her is her dedication to her dreams. She got her dream role. Although I know that it will be hard for her. She puts her heart and her physical strength in it....,"

Is this intimate affection could eventually lead to wedding bells, "No. There's no talk about that. (I believe) that once a person talks about that, he should be really decided and ready for it...we still have to do many things individually. And you know being involved and deeply involved, you cannot give time for that because of the kind of work we have. I cannot really predict..." 'Kimmy Dora' lead actor

Also for the sake of friendship, Dingdong will be doing the upcoming comedy flick "Kimmy Dora (Kambal sa Kyeme)" starring Eugene Domingo.

Just like those stars who did a cameo role of the movie, Dingdong said he did not think twice when friend director Joyce Bernal, who directs the movie, asked him to be Eugene's leading man.

"I am having so much fun in the shooting. Since day one until the end the experience was so fun. It's like you are entertained and learning at the same time," the Kapuso's famous leading man said.

Dingdong has also praises for the movie's producer Kapamilya hunk Piolo Pascual, who he worked with in a commercial before. "At the very rare times that he visits, he sees to it that everything is under control."

This will be the first time Dingdong do a comedy film. Asked what the most memorable scene he has done so far, he said: "Maybe the pool scene. Eugene showed her powers in that part. Direk Joyce executed it well and Eugene's bathing suit then was nice."

Aside from the pool scene, the kissing scene of Dingdong and Eugene has become a hot topic on the Internet and tabloids. Some said people should not make a big deal out of it because this kissing scene is not a romantic kissing scene that has to be used for publicity.

"This is a wholesome movie. In fact we haven't taken that scene yet or we might not shoot it. This is a comedy film about the life of two girls who are twins. Girls who have struggles in their individualities... but you know whether there is a kissing scene or not it is really not yet sure and that is only an external factor what is important is the character of Kimmy and Dora," he said.

Dingdong revealed that he is also one of the producers of the film. He meanwhile neither denied nor admitted that he received talent fee for doing "Kimmy Dora."

"More to that it's the experience that can never be equated with money...For me I have gained a lot in this film," he concluded.
