AFTER his daring pictorial for Cosmopolitan magazine and his walking down the ramp at the Cosmo Bachelor Bash last year, former Viva teen actor Dingdong Dantes bares anew in the soon-to-be-launched billboards of Bench underwear.

The lead actor of "MariMar" is the latest addition to the growing list of Bench clothing line owned by businessman Ben Chan.

Dingdong did more than he was asked for in the Bench photo shoot that was done in Subic Bay Freeport in Zambales several weeks ago. The photos of Dingdong are more exciting compared to the one he did for Cosmopolitan where he posed naked.

"For sure, Dingdong will be much talked-about once his pictorial for Bench comes out," says a source who was able to see some of the pictures. "He's really oozing with sex appeal. The pictorial was able to capture a different side of Dingdong. He's really something else. "

When interviewed on the set of MariMar several weeks back, the actor mentioned that something big is happening to him this March that his fans should watch out for. He was probably referring to the Bench pictorial and this is a big thing indeed for the former dancer-turned-actor.

According to our source, the idea of Dingdong agreeing to do the sexy pictorial is really something big. "He really went daring in the pictorial. All those people who had been fantasizing about Dingdong will have their fill of his sexiness once the giant billboards are unveiled in the metropolis, especially along EDSA and in some key cities as well. "

Our source added that the Bench people are having a hard time deciding which of the pictorial they would choose to use first because the photos were really very exciting and lovable to look at.

But given the choice, the source would pick the one that has Dingdong only in his underwear, arms raised to his side and facing the sea. Then there's another one showing Dingdong doing push-ups but clad only in skimpy underwear.

Once this pictorial comes out, Dingdong will be considered the hottest sexy actor at the moment. He will surely be talked out.

According to sources, the launching and unveiling of the Bench billboards of Dingdong will be on March 8. Come July, he will be one of the celebrities joining the yearly Bench fashion show.

ARA LETS CRISTINE ON HER OWN

IT'S true that sisters Ara Mina and Cristine Reyes are very close nowadays. Although they have had their differences before, the sisters have patched up their differences. But one thing certain, they no longer meddle in each other's love affairs.

Ara allows Cristine to take stock of things in her life on her own but she remains a sister who can be a shoulder to cry one if need be.

"Kung dati, eh, pinakikialaman ko ang bawat kilos niya kasi may pagka-over protective akong Ate, hindi na ngayon. I'm just here to give her advice pag kailangan niya. Pero hindi ko na siya sinisita," explains Ara.

The desire to give Cristine a good movie project was what prompted Ara to produce a movie.

"Naniniwala ako na Cristine is a good actress kaya lang 'di siya nabibigyan ng right break," sabi ni Ara who sought the service of famed director Peque Gallaga to write the story which was written for the screen by Gina Marissa-Tagasa and directed by Lore Reyes.

The movie also stars Eddie Garcia, Paolo Paraiso, Ian Veneracion, Eva Darren at Rochelle Barrameda. "Ate" opens March 5.
