Author: Rachelle Siazon Even if ex-boyfriend Dingdong Dantes didn't make it to Karylle's birthday bash at Embassy, many people are saying that the singer-actress still had a blast as she was seen dancing with rumored suitor Jericho Rosales all night long. But Karylle refuted such reports when ABS-CBN.com caught up with her during the recent press conference of Komiks Presents Mars Ravelo's Nasaan Ka Maruja? " Nagsasayaw kami? Alam ko hindi masyado. Parang alam ko hindi naman. Sabi kasayaw daw niya ako? Hindi ko maalala. Nag-usap kami for a while pero hindi ko alam kung nagsayaw ba kami. Sa pagkakaalam ko hindi naman. Siguro yung parang nagsasayaw lang siya sa tabi ko pero hindi ko matandaan na yung kaming dalawa lang," said Karylle, who was totally surprised by the news. There were those who claim that they were really cozy with each other that night but the 28-year-old actress insisted that she was with her friends most of the time and not with Jericho. " Hindi ah! Hindi nga kami magkasama. Most of the time kasama ko yung mga girl friends ko so siyempre kasayaw mo naman kapag ganun yung mga girl friends mo eh. Nakakausap ko lang siya pero hindi kami nagsayaw or whatever. Hindi nga kami nagkasama for a long time that night kasi madami akong kaibigan na dumating. Siyempre ie-entertain mo lahat. Tapos ako kasi kapag ganun, sumasayaw lang ako with my girl friends, more ganun," she added with a grin. Karylle also refused to make a big deal out of his generosity since rumor has it that Jericho keeps on giving her gifts even if it's not her birthday. "L ahat naman ng tao nagbigay ng gift sa akin. Yung sinasabing bigay siya ng bigay ng gifts s a akin, mahilig lang talaga yun magbigay ng regalo kung kani-kanino. Minsan nagbibigay siya ng candy sa aming lahat sa set, so ganun lang." When asked about her other rumored suitor Christian Bautista, Karylle reiterated that there's nothing going on between them other than their constant singing engagements together. Then she remarked that guys nowadays are seldom clear about their real intentions towards the girls they like. " Wala namang nagsasabi na suitors sila. Unfair yung mga guys, ayaw nila sabihin kasi takot mabusted kapag nanligaw. So hindi ko alam, hindi naman nila sinasabi sa akin," she added humorously. Karylle happily shared that there are lots of non-showbiz guys who have been trying to get close to her ever since she broke up with Dingdong last year. "Actually nagugulat nga ako na hindi sila nai-intimidate yung ibang tao sa akin kasi kunwari pupunta ako sa isang lugar, may nagpapa-set- up diyan, so yung friends ko actually yung mas nagiging strict. I just found out recently na yung isa kong pinsan madami pa lang nagpapaset-up sa kanya, siya mismo ayaw niyang ipakilala sa akin. Tapos yung isa kong friend meron daw sa kanya na apat na guy yung gustong magpaset-up sa kanya, so yung friends ko mismo yung nagsa-stop. Kung hindi pumapasa sa kanila ayaw ilang ipakilala sa akin," she beamed. Perhaps Jericho and Christian have more advantage since they closely work together for various projects. Given a chance to choose between the two of them, Karylle said that it's difficult to say because both guys are both dear friends to her. " Hindi ko masagot. Iba kasi eh. Si Christian kasi we were close when we were together in West Side Story and when I moved to ABS-CBN isa siya sa mga kaibigan ko at kakilala ko. Siyempre konti lang kakilala ko here, sila Tito Gary (Valenciano), Tito Martin (Nievera), at si Mama lang. So sa age group ko talagang siya lang and si Jed (Madela). Kumbaga, we just finished a play at that time so talagang inaalagaan niya ako. He makes sure na kilala ko yung mga tao.
