Empress Schuck doesn't mind being compared to Valerie Concepcion

One of the conflicts in Your Song Presents Underage is the student-teacher relationship of the characters portrayed by Empress Schuck (Cecilia) and Rafael Rosell (Professor David). But in real life, the beautiful teen star said that she wouldn't ever date a guy who was 10 years older. Pero kung ganun katanda, yung tipong 26 years old, hindi naman siguro," she said during the show's presscon last Wednesday night, February 25. When the entertainment writers laughed at her obvious aversion to older guys like Rafael, Empress was quick to clarify that she just couldn't see herself going out with him. Sorry talaga. Siguro mga three years older na guy, yun okay sa akin," she added.

Apparently, the young actress is picky when it comes to her crushes. Even her co-star Matt Evans doesn't really appeal to her. Si AJ (Perez) na lang," she admitted with a laugh. She later shared with ABS-CBN.com what she likes best about the former Lobo star. Hindi magwowork out yun. And kilala ko na si AJ, meaning alam kong hindi siya yung tipo ng boyfriend na gusto ko," she explained.

But if there is one Kapamilya actor who could make this girl go weak-kneed with excitement, it's no other than You Changed My Life star John Lloyd Cruz. Tapos every time na birthday ko dinadaanan niya ako at sinasabihan na three years or two years na lang pwede na kita ligawan. Sabi kasi nung character niya hihintayin daw niya ako hanggang maging 18 years old ako. Looking back, kilig moments pala yun," she recounted.

There's no doubt that the 16-year-old actress is one of the most beautiful faces among today's young stars. There have been rumors though that she gets irritated whenever people say that she looks like Wowowee host Valerie Concepcion. " Sino nagsabi niyan? May Rio Locsin pa nga eh. So iba-iba. So pwede na."

Empress was honest enough to admit though that she prefers to be a dead ringer for Gretchen more than Valerie.
