Column: Entertainment STAR Magics Erich Gonzales and Jason Abalos are two of the brightest talents in ABS-CBN bejeweled crowed. Nineteen-year-old Erich Gonzales talent is finally getting noticed. She gets her biggest break with "Katorse," which she headlines. After doing supporting roles, she is launched as the lead star in the remake of the Dina Bonnevie movie directed by Joey Gosiengfiao. She cant imagine doing a mature and daring role but she knows its about time to explore more challenging tasks since only few are given the rare opportunity in her fourth year in show business. This Davao pride started as the grand questor of Star Circle Quest and appeared in "Sana Maulit Muli," "Pieta," "Abt ur Luv," "Your Song," "Ligaw na Bulaklak," "Panday," "Kung Fu Kids" and "Mga Anghel na Walang Langit." Aside from good breaks on TV, Erich is honored by Jewels clothing which got her to endorse their clothes and gave her her first billboard. "Im thankful for all the blessings Im getting now and most especially to my Jewels family who remain supportive of my career since I started," Erich said. Another rising Kapamilya talent is Jason Abalos. After being one of the Top 5 in Star Circle Quest, he was paired with Angelica Panganiban in "Vietnam Rose." He got his biggest break via "Endo," which gave him his first award from Urian and Young Critics Circle. He was also seen as Cristine Reyes leading man in "Eva Fonda" and Erich Gonzales love interest in "Pieta." Soon after, "Kambal sa Uma" was given to him and he is now paired with Shaina Magdayao. So it is not surprising that Jason also got Jewels attention. "After two years of having Erich Gonzales as our endorser, we thought of getting a male endorser and first name that comes to our mind is Jason Abalos. We welcome him and we are happy to have him as part of our family," said Jewels owner. Jason is also glad to be tapped by Jewels.
