For the first time, singing champions Erik Santos, Mark Bautista and Christian Bautista and actors Sam Milby and Piolo Pascual will join forces to give their fans a show to remember.

This month of hearts, they will unite in a big concert dubbed as "Pop Icons: The Concert," which is produced by ASAP Live and Sunday Night Productions.

"Every year nag-iiba ang concept ng ASAP. This is just the initial offering namin para naman makapagbigay ng bagong flavor sa audience," Pascual said.

The Pop Icons, namely, the Ultimate Hearthrob Pascual, Rockoustic Hearthrob Milby, Asian Pop Idol Christian Bautista, Prince of Pop Erik Santos and Pop Hearththrob Mark Bautista said that their concert is something that they will enjoy doing.

"Of course papakita namin how we enjoy the show, and we will also show something different na hindi pa nakikita ng mga tao sa ibang concerts and sa ASAP. We want to give the people their money's worth.

According to the Pop Icons, their show will be a tribute to all music icons from the 60's to the 90's like the Eraserheads.

The "Pop Icons" concert according to Pascual is the product of The Filipino Channel and people abroad who want them to get together and do a show.

"Actually yung TFC Global gusto nila kami i-tour sa ibang bansa. Prior to that gusto nila kaming makita sa isang production and 'yan nga. Sana yung sa ABS-CBN Christmas Special pero hindi natuloy 'yon. Kaya kami na ang (gumawa) ng paraan," Piolo said.

He added, "Nakilala kami sa ASAP as ibang group, 'yung Heartthrobs and Champions. So why not combine the groups and put up a show para naman maiba and mabigyan ng ibang performance ang mga audience?"

The music icons said that they are happy to be working together, especially since they know that they will be there supporting each other.

The five started to bond as they are all members of Victory Fellowship. They dreamt of having a concert and producing it as well, which gave birth to "Sunday Night Productions". With the support of ASAP Live, the "Pop Icons" materialized.

The Pop Icons' series of concerts will held first in Dagupan this on February 13th and in Cebu on February 14th.

They will also have a concert at the Big Dome on February 21st and they will serenade the Visayas as they stage their last concert in Bacolod on February 28th.

"Ang laki ng tulong sa amin ng ASAP Live. Sila ang tumutulong sa amin on how to go about it. Isang bagay ito para matutunanan namin kung paano ang mag-produce," Pascual ended.

Directed by Roel Santiago, don't miss this one of a kind show wherein five heartthrobs become one to give you the "Pop Icons" concert that will be musically directed by Louie Ocampo.
