For Josh Kris takes family to Boracay

Randy Santiago said he liked the trailer of the Star Cinema movie, "A Love Story," and, thus, predicts it will be a blockbuster.

"A Love Story," produced by Star Cinema and directed by Maryo de los Reyes, stars Aga Muhlach, Angelica Panganiban and Maricel Soriano, who was the love of Randy?s life once upon a time.

Randy is now, of course, happily married to the former Marilou Coronel, with whom he has three children, all boys. Maricel has two boys, too.

Said Randy of "A Love Story": "I think a number of men will be able to identify themselves with the character Aga is portraying. Iyon bang tipong you would wish you have two hearts. Yes, sana dalawa ang puso mo."

Will he watch the premiere of "A Love Story" on August 14 at the Megamall?

"I am wary of watching it," he answered. Then in a voice which was hard to distinguish whether he was kidding or serious, he added, "It might open old wounds."

Now more a director than a singer and an actor, Randy will direct "John En Shirley" in the next two weeks.

"John En Shirley" is topbilled by Dolphy, Susan Roces and Maricel Soriano.

The special guest in the first episode which Randy directs is Valerie Concepcion.

A former GMA-7 contract artist, Valerie is now a co-host of "Wowowee." She replaced Roxanne Guinoo, who is now stars in two teleseryes, "Natutulog Ba ang Diyos?" and the forthcoming "Lastikman."

Valerie, at 19, is not keen on falling in love soon. She is a single mom to nearly three-year-old Fiona, who is the reason the young star wants to succeed in showbiz. "I want to give her the best in life," said Valerie. "Ayokong matulad siya sa akin. Gusto kong umibig siya sa tamang panahon."

Valerie, like Angel Locsin, is a talent of Becky Aguila.

Tanya Garcia is scheduled to give birth in September. She wants to deliver her first baby by former Pampanga governor Mark Lapid in the US.

A report had it that Mark is married to a Korean, with whom he has a daughter. The girl revealed in a TV show that she and Mark got hitched nearly two years ago in Hong Kong.

People close to Tanya said that she was, naturally, hurt by the revelation. In due time, it was her deep love for Mark which prevailed.

The couple will name their baby Mischa Amidala.

Also due to give birth in September is Meryl Soriano. Her first-born will be a boy.

Meryl and Bernard Palanca separated after only four months of marriage. They wed in October last year.

It is said that Bernard will soon file for the dissolution of their marriage. Nonetheless, this will not deter him from demanding for joint custody of his and Meryl?s baby.

Kris Aquino is with her entire family, meaning husband James Yap and sons Joshua (father is Phillip Salvador) and nearly four-month-old Baby James, in Boracay.

Talent manager Dolor Guevarra, who is a friend of Kris, reportedly asked the actress why she and her family chose to go on a vacation in Boracay during the rainy season.

Kris reportedly said she had long promised Joshua a trip to Boracay. She did not want to disappoint the boy as he had long looked forward to this trip.

Joshua turned 12 last June.
