GMA 7's upcoming shows

IN LINE with the celebration of GMA Network of its 59 years, the broadcast firm announced its new primetime shows in the second half of 2009.

The network will again remake another hit Mexicanovela "Rosalinda" starring fresh star Carla Abellana in her most natural and stunning aura.

In the recently released plug, Carla walks through an alley showered with petals towards love interest Geoff Eigenmann (Fernando Jose). This will be airing next month.

Kapuso primetime star Marian Rivera reprises the role of the highly-popular female superhero "Darna." Marian was handpicked by the network to revive the character of Darna who was first played by Angel Locsin also in the said network.

A-1 host Paolo Bediones, meanwhile, is back for the second season of the highly-watched "Survivor Philippines" slated to soar in primetime this August.

While the first season proved to be action-packed and drama-stricken, the upcoming one looks even grander. Paolo gets his unusual high as the torch bearer for the next season. He ushers the chosen castaways, brims with action, and boards a helicopter to tease Survivor fanatics.

Kapuso male superstar Dingdong Dantes stands on his own as the male opposite in "Stairway to Heaven." He goes through a carnival of thoughts, but remains hopeful in the game of love.

Kapuso Telebabad's pride Richard Gutierrez, on the other hand, is the male lead in remake of Koreanovela hit "Full House."

Away from his usual hype for action, this one finds him thrilled for family, love, and a long lasting relationship.

All these upcoming programs are showcased in a 90-seconder plug featuring Kapuso stars who will take the lead in the new primetime offerings. The TV plug will be presented themes of love, goodness, anxiety, hope, and trust.

Helmed by GMA AVP for Post Production Operations Paul Ticzon, the omnibus plug was conceptualized by the creative team of GMA's Program Support led by GMA VP for Program Support Regie Bautista, project manager Hasmin Marable, associate creative director Dino Garcia, copywriter BJ Camaya, and art director Reybert Ramos.
