Gabby at KC, magsasama sa commercial

MAY magandang offer daw si Gabby Concepcion for an endorsement where he is supposed to be paid higher than the amount na kikitain niya sa isang controversial whitening soap.

Here's the rub, though. Kasama niya sa endorsement ang anak na si KC Concepcion.

Can he "help" them? Yes, help convince KC to do the commercial with him? Will KC agree?

As it is, KC has yet to do a commercial with mega mom, Sharon Cuneta.

Vocal si KC sa pagsasabing if she's going to do a movie with either of her parents, she prefers na ang kanyang mom muna ang makasama niya sa unang project.

After all nga raw, KC points out, she owes that to Sharon, who brought her up all by herself and, later, with her stepdad, Senator Kiko Pangilinan.

DALAWA ang choice ni Kim Chiu, Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 1 (PBBTE) grand winner, na manalo sa ongoing PBBTE2. Sino man daw ang manalo kina Beauty at Priscilla, okay sa kanya.

Why? we asked her.

"Kay Beauty po, nakikita ko ako noong housemate pa ako sa Bahay ni Kuya," sagot ni Kim. "I was not there for the competition. Gusto ko lang 'yung experience. Kaya naman wala akong complaints during my stay sa PBB house.

"Ang pagkakapanalo ko was truly a bonus. A blessing. I truly thank God for that.

"Sa kaso ni Priscilla, I admire her desire to appear, look and feel normal even with her disability. Inspirasyon siya ng mga katulad niya, 'yung mga tinatawag na PWD (people with disability).

"Pero higit sa lahat, inspirasyon din siya ng mga normal na tao tulad natin. Na kung may pinapangarap tayo, we should reach for it. Have it realized, no matter what. "

KIM'S PBBTE victory has done wonders not just for her, but also for her family. Dahil nga naghahanap-buhay na siya ngayon, malaki ang naitutulong niya sa kanyang pamilya.

Hindi ipinagkakaila ni Kim na galing siya sa mahirap na pamilya. She worked as a cashier for her lola's store at an early age.

Pero ngayon daw, kahit lola niya, kahit daw 'di naman ito humihingi ng tulong, ay natutulungan niya.

"Nakatutuwang I am able to help send my siblings to school. Dalawa lang kami ng aking Ate Lakambini (her eldest sister. Kim's the youngest) na may trabaho," pahayag pa ng young star.

Kim turned 18 last April 19. Last Saturday, isang grand party ang inihandog sa kanya ng Star Magic.

"Hindi kasama sa pangarap ko ang magkaroon ng debut party. Isa rin itong blessing," aniya.

Anytime now, Kim and her perennial ka-loveteam, Gerald Anderson, will start taping for their new teleserye, My Girl, an adaptation from a Korean teleserye with the same title.

They are also in the cast of Maligno, which also stars Claudine Barretto, Diether Ocampo and Rafael Rosell.
