Guess what, Ian F. , may ongoing Italian filmfest pala dito sa Pilipinas. We learned about this only when we got a letter from Zenaida Tantoco, Philippine-Italian Association president.

According to Ms. Tantoco, a daily screening of Italian films had been ongoing since October 14 sa Shang Cineplex sa Shangri-La Mall.

Admission is free.

The lineup of Italian films na itatanghal include The True Legend of Tony Vitar (La Vera Leggenda di Tony Vilar), Small Town Italy (Provincia Meccanica), Before You Know It (Basta Un Niente), The Heretic (IlMaestra Degli Error), One Out of Two (Uno Sue Due), The Fever (La Feddre), Caravaggio, What I'm Doing Here (Ma CHe Ci Faccio Qui, 2006), The Destruction (La Destinaziones), The Bird with the Crystal Plumage (Il Uccello Dalle Piume de Cristallo), Mater Natura and The Viceroys (L Vicere).

The True Legend... is a memorable comedy that revolves around the life of Tony Vilar, a famous singer in Latin America during the '60s.

Ang The Fever ay comedy film tungkol sa isang provincial accountant. Ang Caravaggio naman ay tungkol sa journey ng isang artist.

The Bird is a classic; Mater Nature, a breakthrough comedy; and The Viceroy, a popular award-winning drama.
