Column: Just Asking

KNOWN to be Kapuso, Richard Gomez surprisingly appeared on ABS CBN's "Wowowee" last Wednesday. He was there to promote his movie "Bente" with Senator Jinggoy Estrada.

Aside from the movie, the actor is reportedly planning to run as congressman in the province of Ormoc, his wife, Lucy Torres-Gomez's home province. It seems that the actor used the show to have more mileage considering ABS CBN shows come clearer in the province and abroad through TFC.

"Magpaalam ka na kay Mr. Gozon," joked Willie to Richard, referring to the CEO of GMA 7. Willie ribbed Goma about transferring back to the station where he first started his career. ABS-CBN shows which made him popular included the sitcom, "Palibhasa Lalake. "

Is politics eating him up again? Just asking...

AFTER DINGDONG FOR MARIAN, WHO'S NEXT?
EVEN if Marian Rivera has expressed that Dingdong Dantes would probably be the most important guy in her life now, the two haven't opened up as to what their real relationship is.

Maybe, they're just trying to protect their respective career. Marian is now in the thick of training for her new role as the new Darna where she will be paired with a new leading man, Mark Anthony Fernandez.

While GMA7 has loads of potential leading ladies, they seem can't find fresh leading men next to Richard Gutierrez and Dingdong Dantes.

Is GMA suffering from leading men drain? Just asking...
