Gretchen Barretto seems to have a new favorite past time: making up stories.

In her interview in "The Buzz" last Sunday, the singer-actress refused to answer some of the questions of manager Boy Abunda.

We remember her kissing pictures that spread around the web and her alleged new lover in Dodie Puno.

But when scribes asked what's the real score between her and Tony Boy Cojuangco, she seemed to be making up stories.

Being the talk of the town seems to be Greta's passion. No matter what issue is thrown at her, she seemingly doesn't care anymore. And consider that she already has a family and a daughter to protect.

Would she rather be loved or hated because of her actions? Just asking...

KRIS-ALJUR OVERTAKES KIM-GERALD

PINOYS go "kilig" when we see nice couples on television, even if they were just making it up for viewers.

GMA7's Kris Bernal and Aljur Abrenica are dubbed as the next in line after ABS-CN's Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu as top love team.

Little is known yet about the young Kapuso team but it was reported that last April 1, the rating competition between their shows, "Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin?" and "Tayong Dalawa" the former edged the latter with 29. 9% against 25. 5%.

With this development, Kris and Aljur may really be the team up to beat these days. It's pretty exciting as at least we get to see something other than the Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes tandem in the Kapuso network.

So, will Kris and Aljur soon overtake Kim and Gerald? Just asking...

Artists who have either foreign blood or are pure Filipinos but grew up in a foreign land should learn to speak tagalog. .

Examples are Anne Curtis, Sam Milby, Gerald Anderson, Alex Anselmuccio, Princess Ryan, Empress Shuck, PJ Valerio among others.

The era of "mestizos" in the industry is back. And as we may be experiencing, more and more of them are coming to conquer local showbiz.

Now to all those with mixed races who aspire to be part of the local industry, first instruction to follow: learn how to speak Filipino.

But can they be true Filipinos later at heart? Just asking. ..
