| Heavenly AngelsAuthor: Malaya Faithful Angel Angelica Panganiban is feeling the love. She has nothing but thanks for ABS-CBN. She recently renewed her contract with the company which has been her "home" for 16 years, making her one of the most loyal in its stable. She has several projects including three movies, one by Laurice Guillen, and the lead role in the series, "Rubi." These projects are aside from being in the weekly shows "Banana Split" and "ASAP." Angelica is also very fulfilled in her personal life, although she says that because her boyfriend, fellow Kapamilya actor Derek Ramsay, is very busy shooting four shows, their time together are quite short. "Di kami madalas magkita because he and I are both busy with work," she says, "but sometimes when he plays gold in Tagaytay, sumasama ako tapos we have dinner in their house pag Sunday." Angel is a very understanding girlfriend and gives Derek plenty of space. "Hindi ako nagco-compete sa trabaho, friends and family niya," she reveals. "Natutunan ko ito from mga experience and tao na nakakasalamuha. Guardian Angel Angel Locsin remains upbeat about her top-rating soap "Only You." Its exciting for her to play a normal character, as opposed to her role in her first ABS-CBN series, "Lobo," where she played half-human, half-wolf. Of course her Jillian role in "Only You" presents a different kind of challenge as she plays a mom in the series. She only has good words for her leading men, Sam Milby and Diether Ocampo. She finds them pleasant to work with, but an off-screen romance is not possible as everyone knows Angel is on with Luis Manzano, the son of Edu Manzano and Gov. Vilma Santos. Angel is enjoying not just a good relationship with Luis but also with his folks. Edu Manzano openly praises for Luis girlfriend, while Gov. Vilma appreciates the changes in her son because of his guardian angels influence. Speaking of Governor Vi, Angel has cleared the issue about some Vilmanians reaction to her praising Vis screen rival, Nora Aunor. She explains that she is thrilled to receive a positive reaction after doing a reading from Ricky Lees "Himala" but she is unaware of any plan to film a new version of the Brocka opus. She knows it is a tall order to play its lead role. "What I said about the superstar was just my way of paying tribute to those who have really made a mark in the business. Kaming artista we should pay tribute to our Superstar, Star for All Seasons, Megastar, Diamond Star ," she relates. It was not her intention to praise one star and put down another, especially Gov. Vi. "Ayokong masaling si Ate Vi, unang una na dahil mahal ko siya at syempre mother siya ng boyfriend ko," she clears. "Only You," aired after "May Bukas Pa," has been extended and will air for two more months
