'I Love Dreamguyz': Sexy film with big heart

MALE DANCERS - Meet the Dreamguyz: Marco Morales, Sherwin Ordoñez, Mhyco Aquino, Miggi Valdez, and Jay L. Dizon.

They share stellar billling in "I Love Dreamguyz," billed as "a sexy film with a big heart."

It's another producer Manny Valera and director Joel Lama-ngan collaboration, who earlier came up with "Walang Kawala" and "Heavenly Touch," daring (baring, too) movies which did well at the box office and got good reviews to boot. Script by Eric Ramos.

"I Love Dreamguyz" tells the moving stories about male dancers hoping to go to Japan, the audition, training, and pressure they go through.

Leading lady is Niña Jose, who goes bold for the first time. Jao Mapa plays a special role as the Dreamguyz's gay manager.

ACTORS & ROLES - The five actors comprise the hip-hop dance group called Dreamguyz under the tutelage of former Japayuki Didi (Jao).

Mhyco (Michael) is the first member, no first timer in Japan, married but with a Japanese sugar mommy. He used to be with ABS-CBN Star Magic; signed up with Manny V. as he's tired of so-so roles.

Marco (Rico) is a gay choreographer. As expected, he has frontal nudity in the film.

Sherwin (Alvin) is the lover of Jao. He's the kuya of the group offcam.

Miggy (Benjo) is the heartbreak kid, hoping to go to Japan to escape a cruel stepfather and find a missing brother. He's the nephew of former actor Shintaro Valdez.

Jay L. (Jake) is the lover of Marco and the live-in partner of Niña. Jay L. confesses having joined almost every contest in town - to no avail. He's overjoyed to be signed up by Manny V. and assigned a major role in "I Love Dreamguyz."

SKIN EXPOSURE - All five actors have skin exposure in the "sexy film with a big heart," the most daring of whom are Marco (but of course, having let it all hang out in several movies) and Jay L.

Marco and Jay L. have hot love scenes.

In a beach scene, they all ran to the water naked, exposing their backsides.

Mhyco said he and Sherwin used plasters to cover their privates. Marco, Miggy, and Jay L. didn't bother.

But Manny V. said otherwise. All five were totally naked. "I should know. I was there," the producer said.
