Idols boost ratings

FILIPINO fans had a day with visiting "American Idol" (season 7) runner-up David Archuleta and winner David Cook when they guested at two top-rating shows, "Sis" and "Eat Bulaga. " Archie's fans couldn't contain their joy when they saw him, and even the hosts, Carmina Villarroel, Gelli de Belen and Janice de Belen looked so tickled with his presence.

Cook, on the other hand, looked so charming and very pleasant, no wonder the "Sis" hosts got so mesmerized, too. He was given a tribute by the hosts and his songs were sung by La Divas Jonalyn Viray, Maricris Garcia, and Aicelle Santos. Archie complimented the Divas by saying "You guys sing so beautifully. "

He added, "Filipino singers are amazing, you guys are awesome. " But pandemonium broke lose when Archie sang his hit song "A Little Too Not Over You. " Children of Gelli and Mina were at the audience since they are fans of Archie.

Archie likes Philippine sweet mangoes and would love to ride a jeepney. After guesting in "Sis," he went to Broadway Centrum for "Eat Bulaga. " The American-Honduran David Archuleta is such a big hit here.

And the winner in the ratings that day was definitely "Eat Bulaga. " Di ba, Malou Choa-Fagar?

SARAH INSPIRES MARK

Mark Herras and Sarah Geronimo will be together in a project by Viva Entertainment, a city tour special where Simon Wood will also have his baptism of fire as a recording artist in connection with his self-titled album, SW (Simon Wood).

Sarah and Mark had a rehearsal last Wednesday, and the tour started on Sunday. If Mark is inspired anew lately, don't be surprised.
DINGDONG EXCITED EVEN WITHOUT MARIAN

We all know that her camp considers Dingdong a close rival of her son, Richard Gutierrez.

"Stairway To Heaven" was a toprating Koreanovela drama starring Korean sensation Kwong Sang- Woo who was a big favorite here and in other Asian countries. Kwong played the role of Cholo in the Korean version of "Stairway To Heaven. " Now, surely, the new series will boost Dingdong's stock more as an actor.
