| | Is Roxanne Guinoo still hung up on Jake Cuenca? Author: Napoleon Quintos Roxanne Guinoo sat down with Luis Manzano for the new Sixcrets segment of Entertainment Live last February 6. When asked if it took a longer time for her to move on from her breakup with Jake Cuenca than with Joross Gamboa, Roxanne answered, "Ganun, may comparison? Fact. Hindi ko na matandaan. Luma na kasi 'yung kay Joross, five years ago pa. 'Yung kay Jake naman serious relationship kasi 'yun. 'Yung kay Joross puppy love lang." Luis then asked her how she managed to move on, the young actress simply replied, "Accept and adjust lang."
Roxanne was surprised when a video interview where Jake said good words about her was shown. "Hindi ko naman iniisip na ganun. Pero the way she said it kapag napagkukwentuhan namin matagal daw talaga siya bago nakapag-move on. But the good thing about it is nakapag-move on siya. At the end of the day naging happy ending pa rin 'yung nangyari. Sana maging friends kami," said Jake.
The 23-year-old Star Circle Quest alum chose not to say much about the current status of her love life, although she admitted that she is seeing someone exclusively but clarified that she doesn't have a boyfriend yet. She also dismissed the rumor that Vhong Navarro is a frequent visitor to her house. "Rumor lang 'yan. Si Vhong kuya ko 'yan. Sa ASAP alam niya 'yan. Ako nga ang dumadalaw sa dressing room niyo (talking to Luis). Baka gawa gawa lang 'yang issue na 'yan. Hindi totoo. Walang ibang nakakadalaw sa bahay ko. Sa bahay ni Vhong hindi ako pumupunta. Ate ko rin si Des (Desiree del Valle, Vhong's girlfriend) at baby ako ni Kuya Vhong so walang ganun."
Roxanne further disproved speculation that there is a brewing rivalry between her and Banana Split co-star Cristine Reyes. "Ini-issue na 'yan noon pa sa Banana Split, sa aming apat (together with Angelica Panganiban and Valerie Concepcion). Kami naman nina Cristine iba-iba kami ng packaging pagdating sa career. Wala kaming issue pagdating sa ganyan. Mabait si Cristine. Wala kaming problema."
