Iya Villania on Drew Arellano: 'He's the one'

Iya Villania and Drew Arellano started out as a love team five years ago, which soon spilled over into their off-cam lives. Unlike other showbiz couples, they really haven't been in headlines because of intrigues and breakup rumors. " Eh hindi naman kasi kami yung showbiz couple, eh. I'm sure kasi people really aren't interested in us, but it's good kasi at least we get to keep our relationship [intact] hindi katulad nung mga iba na very controversial couples. And you know, Drew is a good boy naman. He doesn't get tsismis naman with other girls. Ako din naman so I guess that's why we're not controversial kaya buti naman," Iya explained.

Since they have very rarely worked with each other, Iya isn't sure if she would want to star with Drew in a series. " Hindi ko alam eh, siguro if it were a hosting stint pero if it were actually for drama, hindi ko alam. Hosting kasi I experienced na hosting with him and there's no problem. Pero yung doing an acting stint together hindi ko pa alam kaya mahirap pa magsalita pero what I know is when we work together two in one, eh kasi we also get to be together din. Parang ayoko rin kasi if something happens, if something not nice happens between the two of us it might even lead to something who knows like a breakup which I really hope wouldn't happen, it would be too late to say kaya siguro kung ganito okay na kami sguro 'wag na kami mag-work together." Iya shared that she is content with how their relationship is going.

No matter how busy she is and how much she is aware of their differences, Iya still see Drew as the one meant for her. " Sana. I would not be with him until now kung hindi ko naiisip na he's the one. Kasi ako before I enter into a relationship, iniisip ko na yung long term na if he were to be the one, could I live with that kind of person? Sa relationship maaga pa lang iniisip ko na yun, eh. Some would say, you wouldn't know pa eh, but iniisip ko, kung pwede 'di ba?"
