Comedian and noon time show host Joey de Leon said Saturday he felt he lost a younger brother with Master Rapper Francis Magalona's passing away.

"I will miss him and his arts. Remember, we are both painters. He's like a younger brother," de Leon said.

De Leon said he is looking at the bright side of Magalona's passing away.

He said at least, Magalona can now talk to God and pray for friends, including him.

"He's already with Him and he can ask Him to pray for us," de Leon, who co-hosted Eat Bulaga with Magalona.

Meanwhile, the Eat Bulaga family that was left behind by the Master Rapper is still in shock.

Magalona succumbed to leukemia past noon Friday at the Medical City hospital in Pasig City. He was 44.

"Hindi ako makaimik agad. I was shocked. I didn't know what to do," Eat Bulaga co-host Anjo Yllana said, describing what he felt when the bad news was brought to them.

"Nakayuko na lang ako. Nagdasal at para akong natuyuan ng laway," added Yllana.

Pauleen Luna, meanwhile, said the whole Eat Bulaga group has been praying hard for Magalona's recovery.

"Of course, I was caught flat-footed. I felt so sad. Imagine, he was with us for a long time and we were praying for his early recovery only to find out na wala na siya," Luna said.

The young actress said she will not forget how brotherly Magalona was to her. "Marami kaming pinagsamahan n'yan," she added.

Magalona has been transferred to the Christ the King Church in Quezon City, where fans and his celebrity friends flocked Saturday.

Raymond Marasigan, a former member of the disbanded Eraserheads, was one of the first artists to rush to Magalona's wake.

The Master Rapper was supposed to make a surprise appearance at the Eraserhead's reunion concert on Saturday.
