John Lloyd calling ex-GF again?

MANILA - Hunk actor John Lloyd Cruz is now regularly calling former girlfriend Liz Uy again after she was reportedly spotted dating a model, a host of an entertainment show reported.

Television host Kris Aquino made this confirmation in her show, "SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon," Tuesday night.

"Kasi tinanong daw siya (Uy) talaga ni John Lloyd, kasi ang daming press na nagtatanong sa kanya , so tinanong siya ni John Lloyd, 'hindi naman sa nakikialam ako sa buhay mo, pero ano ba ang pwede kong i-share sa kanila, kayo na ba?' And Liz said, 'he gives me lot of attention and a lot of comfort but it's not us.'

"So klarong klaro iyon. Kasi hindi ba ma-appeal naman talaga at sexy si Liz. So, kung may nagbibigay ng attention sa kanya ay karapatan niyang tanggapin ang attention na iyon. Pero ang masasabi ko lang talaga ay araw araw call ng call si John Lloyd kay Liz ulit," Aquino said.

In a previous interview, the "I Love Betty La Fea" star maintained that Uy's happiness is important to him.

"Sa akin kung saan siya magiging masaya, kumpleto, buo, siyempre iyon ang importante para sa akin. Kahit ano pa iyan. Kung ang kailangan ba niya ay boyfriend o kung kailangan niya ay pumunta ng ibang bansa and explore her choices abroad. Sa akin, ang importante kung saan siya magiging masaya, sana makuha niya," Cruz said.

Although he sometimes finds it difficult to be a bachelor, the actor said he is not looking for a girlfriend right now because his heart is in a way "taking a break."

"At times, it's difficult being single especially kapag nasanay kang [nasa isang relationship]. Ako kasi halos ang ikli ng gaps ng relationships ko. Ito na yata ang pinakamahaba, pinakamatagal na I manage to stay single. But it's quite a journey," said Cruz.

Cruz's last relationship was with Uy. The two broke-up amid rumors linking him to different celebrities like Ruffa Gutierrez and Sarah Geronimo. The actor dismissed the rumors, saying that Gutierrez and Geronimo are just his friends.

He admitted though that he is learning a lot of lessons from being single, foremost of which is how to become more independent. He also realized that "being happy is a choice."

"At maganda kapag nalagpasan mo ito, na-prove mo na you can actually choose to be single and be happy about it, then I guess being single is a good choice," the actor said.

According to him, he is focusing on work right now. The actor is shooting his newest film, "In My Life," with Luis Manzano and Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos. He is also set to do movies with Bea Alonzo, Geronimo and Angel Locsin.
