Because of the prominent personalities who attended Anthony and Rossel's afternoon wedding, it caused heavy traffic along E. Rodriguez Avenue.

After the reception, the newlyweds spent the night in their unfurnished conjugal house somewhere in Mindanao Avenue.

"Gusto kasi namin maranasan ang pagsisimula sa wala bilang mag-asawa hanggang sa unti-unti naming makumpleto ng mga gamit," shares Anthony who turned 33 two days after his wedding.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Singapore. Anthony is expected to be back today, Jan. 21 in "Umagang Kay Ganda" on ABS-CBN Channel 2 and DzMM's "Dos Por Dos" with partner Gerry Baja.

POPULAR singer and successful businesswoman Claire de la Fuente still cannot believe that beautiful things and God's blessings are continuously pouring in on her lap. He met American record producer, Christian de Walden at the Viva office when she went there for a meeting with Viva big boss, Vic del Rosario, Jr. It was Boss Vic who introduced Mr. de Walden to Claire. That chance meeting led Claire to cut an international album in America with seasoned American musicians ( Barbra Streisand, Michael Jackson, Josh Groban among others) and also meeting in person The Carpenter's lyricist, Pamela Phillips Oland, who, in turn, arranged the meeting between Claire and Karen Carpenter's brother, Richard, in his house in North Ranch Club, Thousand Oaks in California.

"I remember when I received the news that I was going to see him sa house niya through e-mail, muntik akong himatayin," recalls Claire.

"And tsamba na pumayag din siya to listen to the song I recorded kahit rough mix pa. He told me, 'Wonderful, wonderful. You have a beautiful husky voice'.

"Before saying goodbye, I asked him if I can hug him," adds Claire. "'Oh yes, after that wonderful thing that you did to my song ("Something in Your Eyes")',said Richard.

"Meeting Christian, Pamela and Richard and my recording a song composed by Richard and Pamela and working with the wonderful musicians in America were the greatest Christmas gifts I ever received," she beams.

Richard is arriving in Manila together with his wife Mary, Christian de Walden and Pamela for the grand launch of Claire's major comeback album entitled "Something In Your Eyes," a song composed by Richard for his sister Karen but the latter died at an early age of 33 leaving the song unrecorded.

"At my age, I thought, wala na akong pag-asang makapag-comeback pa sa recording. But this break is even bigger than when I recorded my signature song, "Sayang" in 1978," says Claire.

"Dati-rati, hinahangaan ko lamang ang Carpenters. Now, nakilala ko in person and recorded a song composed by Richard who is even coming to town to attend the launch of the album mid next month. They'll be here for a week. Magbibigay din ang ASAP ng tribute sa kanya," an ecstatic Claire added.

Last December 31, Claire sent a package composed of a three-piece set of painted decorative items to Richard as her late Christmas gift to the famous other half of The Carpenters. Richard was just too glad to receive Claire's gifts and immediately displayed them in his sala. He even asked Pamela to take pictures of him with the gifts.

"My God, is this really happening to me? Grabe na talaga ito," beams the widowed Claire.
