Jomari on Celebrity Duets

AFTER his publicized break-ups with former wife Aiko Melendez and former girlfriends Ara Mina and Concert Queen Pops Fernandez, Jomari now have reservations to invite the three ladies for Celebrity Duets Season 3.

Jomari, who uttered words of uneasiness with all the preparations he made for Celebrity Duets during the press launch, proved different when he sung beautifully with Joey Generoso of Side A last August 29.

"Yung mga kinakanta ko lang naman eh yung mga kinakanta sa KTV, at di naman talaga tayo mangaawit (The songs I'm most likely to sing are those in music bars and I'm really not a singer)," Jomari said.

He also said it would make things difficult for him if the production team would be the one to pick the song that he will present for the next episode.

Jomari, who doubted himself of singing decently, received good comments from the jurors during their first singing battle. On Aiko, Ara, and Pops

When asked by the entertainment press on whom he would like to invite to sing with him in Celebrity Duets, Jomari have no qualms of saying the three.

"Alam mo ito totoo ha, walang halong biro to. Yung gusto kong maka duet, yung isa si Aiko, yung isa si Ara at syempre yung isa yung concert queen si Pops (I am very honest here, I really like to share a song with, first, Aiko, second, Ara and of course our concert queen Pops Fernandez)," he uttered.

"Kaya lang di ko sila matawagan kasi nahihiya ako, di ko talaga magawa (But I can't really call them because I'm too shy to do that. I really can't)," Jomari timidly added.

Jomari, if luckily wins the competition, plans to donate the prize to institutions that are also connected to the music industry.

He also expressed his feeling on being part of the show.

"I am very thankful and I am very happy to be part of this Celebrity Duets third season," Jomari said. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
