| | Jon Avila says he's ready for a relationship Author: Fionna Acaba Jon Avila is set to top-bill Pat is Tin, a new show to be aired in the weekday afternoon slot, where he will be teamed-up with Valerie Concepcion. Pat is Tin is the second time for Jon and Valerie to work together after having done the movie, One Night Only. Jon shared that he feels happy about working again with Valerie because he really enjoys her energetic personality. "I like working with Valerie kasi mabait siya, hindi siya mahirap katrabaho. Nakasama ko siya sa One Night Only, magka-partner kami dun. Medyo maingay pero gusto ko yung maingay eh kasi tahimik lang ako. Masaya naman," Jon said. Valerie overheard this part while ABS-CBN.com was interviewing Jon so she cut in. "Jon, magkatrabaho na tayo dati. Maingay talaga ako alam na niya 'yan, nagkasama na kami dati eh. Alam niya yan na madaldal ako," Valerie laughed. The two revealed that although they already have worked together, they did not really have the chance to go out. "We're not naman friends na 'friends.' Parang acquaintances lang. Pero ngayon siguro since magkaka-work kami, magkakaroon kami ng deeper friendship, pero friendship lang ha!" she added. It has been reported that Jon dated Maggie Wilson, but he said that things really did not work out between them. Jon did reveal that he is currently going out with a non-showbiz girl although the relationship is in the early stages. "I don't know, it's medyo malabo eh, it's not solid pa naman. It's just going out-going out lang, [we] just starting out. Bago pa [ lang] kami eh, hindi pa kami pero we just started to date now. I like her because she's down to earth, real, totoo at mabait." As to whether he's ready for a relationship now, Jon clarified, " Gusto ko na magka-relationship. Ayoko nang mag-date-date, ganun. Kasi medyo...basta..."
