Kapuso Stars at Sinulog Festival

It's the merry-month of January and the most-anticipated festival on the Queen City of the South unravels with no less than the hottest personalities in show business.

Marian Rivera, KC Concepcion, and Richard Gutierrez lead the all-star ensemble of Kapuso celebrities who will be in the activities lined-up in celebration of the Sinulog Festival.

Today at 3 p.m., Marian will head an afternoon of fun via the Kapuso Mall Show at the V-Hire Terminal of SM City Cebu.

Marian, who shot to fame via the phenomenal Tagalized Marimar series and the equally primetime hit Dyesebel, will be seen in GMA's Primetime Telebabad via Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang, in which be teamed-up with Dingdong Dantes, again.

The hilarious tandem of Moymoy Palaboy will do the opening number together with the bubbly and talented cast of Istayl Naton. The sibling tandem of Momoy Palaboy—whose ticket to fame is their rib-tickling miming of hit songs via YouTube—are proud Cebuanos and are now part of the Telebabad hit gag show Bubble Gang.

Completing the Kapuso Mall Show cast is the handsome actor Wendell Ramos.

Wendell, of course, is one of GMA-7's handsome faces and can be seen nightly in LaLola; and in the longest-running gag show Bubble Gang.

Meanwhile, a thrilling weekender awaits all Cebuanos as the handsome pair of Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion cap the Kapuso Sinulog Festival tomorrow.

Anticipation is expected to reach its feverish pitch when Cebu's popular son—Richard together with Tinseltown's sweet-faced princess, KC, board a special float which will banner their upcoming film—When I Met U.

The co-production of GMA Films and Regal Films opens on Feb. 11 and Richard and KC is kicking off the series of public appearances and promotion in Cebu via their Sinulog participation.

The float will traverse Cebu's main thoroughfares and will take part at the Sinulog Grand Parade and will serve as the highlight of GMA-7's coverage.

Viewers at home will also experience a special treat, straight from their television sets.

No less than Survivor Philippines first Pinoy Sole Survivor JC Tiuseco will be taking part in the comprehensive and extensive festival coverage which will start at 8 a.m., Sunday morning. JC will be joined by fellow Castaways Jace Flores and Nikki Dacullo.

Since he bagged the title as the Sole Survivor in the first season of Survivor Philippines, JC has also become a regular face of GMA-7's morning show Unang Hirit. Nikki and Jace have also found their niche in the spotlight—with Nikki dabbling in hosting chores via Unang Hirit and Jace bagging a role in the Heart Evangelista-Mark Anthony Fernandez's Luna Mystika.
