Maldives, known for its pristine beaches and breathtaking sceneries, may soon be off the map due to climate change. Join Karen Davila as she exposes the threats of this phenomenon as she visits the sinking paradise this Tuesday, August 4 on "The Correspondents."

Rich with natural resources, Maldives has been a favorite destination of tourists. However, because of sudden and abnormal changes in climate, the country will be underwater in a year's time.

The Philippines is not spared from this occurrence. Based on studies, Obando in Bulacan may also have the same fate as Maldives.
