Karylle admits dating

AFTER her controversial break-up with Dingdong Dantes, actress-singer Karylle Tatlonghari is now entertaining suitors and going on a date.

"Not really formal dating, I went on a date na parang sabi ko sige I'll try going on a date. But sometimes it's a group date but that's it, nothing exclusive. I just tried going out, maybe it's time to go out with my friends to have fun or just hang out," she said.

Many noticed a different glow in Karylle since she held that she has moved on.

"I'm just enjoying being single, because it's been awhile since I was last single so it's very flattering to get a lot of attention. Especially coming from a break-up that's very public, it's a nice feeling when people show their appreciation telling you you're beautiful even bola-bola lang yun pero okay lang, thank you," she added.

According to her, she is open to dating but not yet ready for love.

"During my birthday, I received a lot of messages wishing me happy love life but I told them 'next year nalang.' I mean if you talk about love na love talaga. Parang ang hirap naman this soon," Karylle said.

The actress said she is still healing the wounds caused by her failed romance. Christian and Jericho

Christian Bautista and Jericho Rosales are some of the showbiz personalities who are linked to Karylle.

Asked who among the two have asked her for a date, she said: "Actually they both asked me to go on a date. But these never pushed through."

Karylle also said neither Christian nor Echo is courting her, "Neither of them courts me." Asked who is more appealing to her, she said with a laugh: "Ayoko nang sagutin yan."

She mentioned her concert with Christian on April 25 at Metro Bar.
"Christian and I often have shows together. It's something I've always wanted to have - ka-duet."

"We are excited because the last time we sang together we discussed songs we can possibly sing in duet. It's also nice to sing with someone you have rapport with," she said. Maruja

Karylle is happy she is given chances by ABS-CBN after transferring from the other network.

She did a couple of appearances on ABS-CBN programs and now will be playing a big role in forthcoming TV series "Maruja."

"I play the role of Helen, half sister of Kristine (Hermosa). We are very close like she's my half sister cum best friend. I feel like I am her protector. I am the one who is always there to rescue her," she said.

"I am very excited because it's my first full length drama series for ABS-CBCN. Of course I did 'Betty La Fea' but that was just guesting. This is my first major, we've been working on it for a couple of months and finally they have a date for it," Karylle said.

Asked how she is working with Kristine Hermosa, Karylle replied: "She's very welcoming. It's always something that I want to do - to work with her and didn't expect it will come true."

"I am still Starstruck whenever I see her especially during the first days we were together. She's so beautiful!" Karylle said.

Was there a time they talked about Jericho who has been linked to both of them, Karylle said: "We never talked about him. When we were in group but you know there's no reason to bring up matters about him when we are at work," she said. (JRDB/Sunnex)
