Karylle comes out of her shell

STEPPING into another station serves as a catalyst for Karylle to gracefully unleash the outgoing and sexy side of her.

Karylle was known as one of the conservative and reserved celebrities in the entertainment industry. When she transferred to ABS-CBN, many had noticed the transformation in the actress's fashion style, image, and appearance.

Since she moved network, the actress disclosed that she has been getting flattering comments about her "fresh" look and bright aura.

She has also been donning revealing and sexy clothes in her shows and pictorials, unlike before where she limits herself to simple style of couture.

"Sometimes I am more comfortable (moving around) with the people close to me. I am actually kikay and outgoing but only my close friends could see that side of me. I am more of the reserved type of person on cam," she said.

But Karylle did not deny that she is getting more comfortable showing the extrovert side of her in public now. "In my transfer here (in ABS-CBN), they haven't thought of what am I before so at least I have no qualms displaying the other side of me," the Maruja star said.

"If you transfer to a new environment and you are shy, that quality could be change in your new environment. Keep the old impression on you of people and then start a new one. You can make a fresh start," she added.

When Sun.Star asked Karylle about her former boyfriend Dingdong Dantes, she kept eluding the question and opted not to talk about the GMA-7 actor.

She was asked about Dingdong's new sexy billboard pictorial but she downplayed and said to watch out for her forthcoming back to school billboard in June.

She was also probed about the alleged Amanpulo vacation of Dingdong and Marian Rivera but she again refused to comment. "I don't really want to talk about them, because he is not part of my life anymore. It's not that I don't care for him anymore, but I am not in the position to comment about them."
