| Karylle delves into poetryAuthor: Sun.Star IT IS a fact that young star Karylle is stellar when it comes to singing, and just recently acting. However, it is a little known fact that she can do one other thing too - writing. After keeping her work private, Karylle had her poem published for the first time in the February issue of S Magazine. During Tuesday's press luncheon, the young actress revealed that the S editor-in-chief convinced her to publish her poetry. Valentine's 2009 blog Karylle was hesitant at first, saying "Poems are very personal, they tend to take it literally." In the magazine cover, a line from her poem is written, which says: "I dreamt of rainbows, the night I cried every kind of tear." Karylle said the "rainbow" in her poem is her "everything-is-going-to-be-okay symbol." "It's a sign that things are going to be good," she added. Regarding her "grieving" period during her controversial and public breakup with actor Dingdong Dantes, Karylle said: "The crying wasn't that bad... I didn't do the cry-myself-to-sleep thing. I usually would cry when I would talk to my friends or my mom. I didn't cry alone too much." On the confirmation that Dingdong and Marian Rivera are indeed together, Karylle said: "Dong told me that when we would need to tell each other something, we would... so we would not hear it from other people." "If Dong doesn't tell me it's fine... but on my part, I would tell him if I find someone," she said, adding that she would not feel hurt if the rumors turn out to be true. Karylle also revealed that she and Dingdong still communicate, but usually about their business - Centerstage, a karaoke bar along Tomas Morato - which they co-own with a few others. On being ready to see Dingdong and Marian together in person, she replied: "God knows if a person is ready to see another person. If you're not ready, then it won't happen." "I'm not ready to work with him (Dingdong) yet, though," she revealed. Both stars are endorsers for Bench clothing. "I'm happy that my (Bench) 'Single is Sexy' campaign is successful," Karylle said of her underwear campaign. Valentine's Day plans On whether she has a Valentine, Karylle said: "No, but I have a concert though, so let's just see who will attend." Karylle will have a solo concert on February 14 at 8 p.m. at Edsa Shangri-la, entitled "Magic of Love." She is currently linked with Jericho Rosales, her co-star in the show "I Love Betty La Fea," and who will also be joining her in an upcoming ABS-CBN soap opera. The singer, however, kept mum on the rumors, only saying: "Jericho and I really are friends, it's not a gimik." She then said she is not yet ready to fall in-love after the breakup. "It's like having a heart bypass, and then playing in the Olympics right after." On having to choose between a successful career and a stable love life, Karylle said: "I think you can have it all. You just have to always keep in mind that God is generous and you also have to accept that things like those (having it all) could happen." Future projects Karylle is set to star in a new soap opera entitled "Ikaw Lamang," opposite Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa. She will also launch soon her new album under Diamond Records entitled "A Time for Letting Go," containing 11 songs which include her version of "I'll Never Get Over You (Getting over me)." She is also part of a band called "Reasons" which has yet to be launched formally. Together with her is Jeff Singson, her co-star in last year's musical "The West Side Story."
