At the grand press con of Komiks Presents Mars Ravelo's Nasaan Ka Maruja, the entertainment press couldn't help but tease Karylle if she was awestruck with Marian Rivera's beauty the same way she was when she first met Kristine Hermosa. Much to everyone's surprise-since she rarely speaks about Marian and ex-boyfriend Dingdong Dantes, she was quick to say yes. " Nung first time ko siyang nakitang sumayaw actually. Totoong [nagandahan ako sa kanya]. Kasi nakita ko siyang sumayaw before, before pa. Sa labas pa yun, sa may driveway ng SOP, kasi minsan may outdoor tapos may indoor set," she answered matter-of-factly.

Since the subject came up, the 28-year-old actress went on to clarify that there is no rift between her and Dingdong contrary to popular belief. As a matter of fact, she invited him to her birthday celebration last March at Embassy just to prove that she no longer has ill feelings towards him. But when he didn't show up at her party, those rumors flared up again.

Karylle further stressed that she understands why he chose not to come despite her offer of a truce. And yun, basta he knew naman na he was invited.

Though Karylle admitted that she hasn't fully recovered yet from their painful breakup, many have noticed her radiant aura due to her countless charity works and inspirational talks with people who seek counseling tips from her. "I feel like so much has been given to me that it's time for me to give back. My batchmates in Poveda and I recently staged a fundraising concert in Eastwood and we raised mga P220,000. I am just so happy about that. Alam mo yun, kahit wala kang love life, yung love mo nabibigay mo sa ibang tao. I am just looking for other ways to spread the love. Kasi parang alam mo yun feeling mo ang dami mong love pero wala ka namang boyfriend," she added with a laugh.

With the way things are going for her, some have been saying that she's really better off without Dingdong but Karylle refuses to look it that way and is not bitter about their breakup. "Well I think hindi ko naman sinasabi na naging masama yung relationship namin because marami naman akong natutunan and marami din namang magandang naidulot yun. And I was very happy when were together, so alam mo yun, no regrets. And whatever happened, happened. And now, okay na." And it's all because of her faith in God. " Meron akong isang prayer na favorite, it's called 'The Road Ahead.' Parang kapag hindi mo alam yung hinaharap mo parang parati kang magpre-pray for God's Will and that's what I do. Hindi yung masyadong minamadali yung padi-desisyon, hindi yung parang hindi pinag-isipan," she stated.
