| Karylle on life post-breakup: 'Bumabalik ulit yung faith ko in love'![]() Author: Rachelle Siazon Even if she's still very much unattached this coming Valentine's Day, Karylle is all set to celebrate the romantic occasion with a concert dubbed Magic of Love to be held at the Lobby Lounge of EDSA Shangri-La Hotel on February 14. " Oo sabi ko nga I always have love to share. Since w ala naman akong isang tao na mabuhusan ng love, I can still share it through my music with my audience," she admitted to ABS-CBN.com during the taping of her Your Song episode last February 4. There was no trace of bitterness in her voice as she further expressed her wish to fall in love again with the right person in due time. "Whenever I see couples, wala na ako sa point na, ' Ang sweet nila... nakakaasar!' Nandun na ako ulit sa when I look at a couple and the love between them, bumabalik ulit yung faith ko in love. I always find that inspiring, especially yung mga older couples. Recently kasi I sang for a couple [who celebrated their] 50th anniversary. Yung kapag nakita mo sila talagang bigay na bigay ka kasi nakikita mo na mayroon pa rin silang kilig moments even at their age. So talagang love exists and love will come," she beamed. Other than her show this Valentine weekend, Karylle revealed that she has no plans to go out with someone special or even with friends from her "Single Ladies Club." " Oo nga eh naikwekwento ko palagi tuwing may nakikipagbreak tinatawagan nila ako lagi. 'Guess who's single now? You're not the only single person in this world.' So feeling ko mayroon kaming club. Madami ngang nag-aask sa akin ng advice online or sa text. Feeling ko dumadami kami ng dumadami so ano ba ito, isa ba itong club? Kung wala lang akong concert, magpapaparty sana ako for all the single ladies pero saka na lang siguro," she remarked. On a serious note, the 27-year-old singer-actress felt glad that her breakup with Dingdong Dantes has given her a sense of purpose instead of leaving her disillusioned and miserable. "Honestly kasi, kaya lang hindi ako nagii-stop to talk about these things is because there's a lot of people asking me about retreats and counseling. Kaya sabi ko itong si God meron siyang plan. As a young person, alam ko naman na hard sell doesn't work on people especially when it comes to religious things. I mean, if this is my mission then I'll continue talking about this experience if some people can learn from it." As it happens, Karylle has been very vocal about how she underwent counseling to help her cope with the pain of her controversial split-up with Dingdong. " Dito lang yun actually sa Christ The King sa E. Rodriguez (Quezon City). A lot of TV personalities have asked me for contact numbers of counselors and where I had my retreats... Na siyempre hindi ko naman pwede sabihin kung sino. Yung iba sa news [department], yung iba naman artista. Ang galing kasi feeling ko talagang nagii-spread siya. A lot of people din online who are concerned with their friends have asked me, 'Can you tell me where you went counseling? Because my friend is taking anti-depressants baka pwede niyang ma-try 'yan. Maybe that will work for him.' Siyempre iba yung feeling knowing that you've helped someone in your own little way," she added. Catch Karylle as she celebrates the Magic of Love at her Valentine concert this Saturday at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel.
