Kaye takes over the role originally intended for Roxanne Guinoo who was supposed to play leading lady to newbie actor Guji Lorenzana. Kaye will play a children's show writer who falls in love with one of the Bud Brothers. In the chapter entitled Pepper's Roses, Pepper (Kaye) and Rei (Guji) are childhood friends who pretend to be a couple to fix the rift between their fathers. In the middle of the ruse, Pepper and Rei will discover just how important they are to each other. Can Pepper and Rei admit their feelings for one another? Kaye, who started in showbiz as part of Ang TV, is best known for her role as girlfriend of John Lloyd Cruz in the long running weekly drama Tabing Ilog, a show which also launched the careers of Baron Geisler, Jodi Sta. Maria, and Desiree del Valle. Kaye was also paired with Marvin Agustin in the teleserye Sanay Wala Nang Wakas which also starred Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa. Kaye was last seen on TV via a guest appearance with Joross Gamboa in May Bukas Pa.
