MANILA - Last October 5, Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson confirmed to some members of the press that they will do a movie together in 2010, one which is slated to be Star Cinema's first offering for the year.

Although the two were discreet about the storyline, they did say that the film will be a shift from the romantic-dramas they have done in the past.

Chiu hinted that the film will be a romantic-comedy.

"Masaya kami dito, tatawa kami, magbibiruan kami. And after 'I've Fallen For You' (their launching movie in 2007), level up na naman sa amin ito kasi mas mature para sa aming dalawa," she said.

They both shared that they felt excited when they were informed about the project.

Fresh from their just concluded TV hit series "Tayong Dalawa," Chiu and Anderson explained that working together makes their job easier since they are comfortable with one another.

Just recently, the two have started making projects separately. Anderson is currently featured as Tiagong Akyat in "Agimat: Mga Alamat ni Ramon Revilla," with Erich Gonzales as his leading lady.

Chiu, on the other hand, will soon appear in a film, "I Love You, Goodbye," top billed by Gabby Concepcion and Angelica Panganiban. Chiu's leading man in the movie is Derek Ramsay.

"Siyempre kahit papaano miss namin ang isa't isa. For three years, lagi kaming magkasama at lagi kaming magkatrabaho," explained Chiu.

With "Tayong Dalawa's" success, she admitted that they feel pressured to come up with a quality film, as always is the case every time they work on a project.

'Yong nakita nila sa 'Tayong Dalawa,' mas dodoblehin namin," she assured. -Bernie Franco, ABS-CBN.com
