Kris Bernal is afraid of being hurt by Aljur Abrenica

Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin star Kris Bernal revealed the real reason why she is afraid of being in a commitment with Aljur Abrenica.

Kris Bernal, who is by now one of the Kapuso network's rising female celebrities, guests yesterday, June 14, at Showbiz Central to face Mo Twister as he grilled her into sharing secrets; including the real score behind her and love team artner Aljur Abrenica. To start off the segment, Mo decided to see if Kris was willing to do everything for her love team partner lest he feels the chills!

Kris, who studied nursing before venturing into acting, was given a hypothetical situation. What if Aljur suddenly experienced complications in breathing because of stress? What skills would she apply in order to make him feel better?

Kris smiled before answering, "Madali lang 'yan, e. Kay Aljur, madali siyang lambingin kumbaga. Okay na siya doon. Kaunting lambing at kaunting sweet, ok na ang pakiramdam niya. Ako, sobrang maaalahanin kay Aljur. Makita ko lang na masakit katawan niya or hindi siya feleing okay, e hindi ako mapakali. So ako, kung may sakit siya or hindi siya ok, e, ginagawa ko lahat para gumaling siya."

Including CPR?

"Why not!" Kris exclaimed.

With that, Mo moved on to the next question. He asked, "Sinabi mo na din na nililigawan ka ni Aljur. Question is: What is it about you that makes you the best possible girlfriend for Aljur?"

Kris smiled and said, "Siguro para sa akin, yung totoong feelings ko for him and pagiging sincere ko. Baka kasi ang iba, crush lang."

Kris had revealed in past interviews that she was worried about Aljur being always near the girls and that she, as a girl who cares for Aljur, admitted that she was the jealous type. Now the question is: Which of all the girls does Kris feel jealous more of?

Kris perked up and answered, "Wala, e. Wala talaga...basta ako nagseselos sa mga babaeng malapit sa kanya."

Like who?

"StarStruck pa, nagselos na ako," admitted Kris. "Hindi siya StarStruck member. Ex niya, noong hindi pa siya artisa."

Moving on, Mo commented that, like Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes, their love team was as successful as that of Kris and Aljur. Now, in Kris' case, would she do well in this industry without Aljur?

"Para sa akin, hindi," answered Kris. "I don't think mare-reach ko itong level na ito without Aljur. Unang-una, sobrang komportable na ako na katrabaho siya. Pag katrabaho kami, tulungan kami...pag kailangan ng motivation, ganyan. Malaki ang naitulong niya sa career ko."

Last question: "If he comes here and looks at you in the eye then says, 'Kris, bakit hindi mo pa ako sinasagot?' What would you say?"

Kris thought for a while then answered, "Aljur, natatakot kasi ako, e, na ma-in love ng bongga at masaktan. So, gusto ko muna ma enjoy ang moment nililigawan mo ako at sinusuyo mo ako at lagi kang malambing sa akin. Mahal natin ang trabaho natin at pareho tayong takot na pag naging tayo, e, magkaroon ng hindi magkaintindihan...masaya ako na nilalambing mo ako lagi."
