| Kristine takes a break from drama for 'Banana Split'Column: Entertainment She's definitely the woman who can make you laugh, cry and laugh again. Yes, she's back. One of the pretty faces of local showbiz actress Kristine Hermosa is back in doing comedy through ABS-CBN's upcoming comedy show, "Banana Split." Hermosa, who recently starred in the afternoon series, "Prinsesa ng Banyanera", will now be working with actress Anne Curtis, Valerie Concepcion">Valerie Concepcion, Iya Villania, Valerie "Bangs" Garcia and Angelica Panganiban in "Banana Split. For Hemosa, doing comedy is not a new thing since she already did a sitcom almost seven years ago with celebrity couple Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres-Gomez' "Richard Loves Lucy." In an interview, Hermosa said she's taking a break in doing drama. But she said that like drama projects she is also enjoying doing comedy. Hermosa also said that she doesn't have problems working with new set of stars since she already established a good relationship with them like Curtis, who is her friend, and Concepcion, whom she described as a good person. "Banana Split" is an upcoming all-female gag show on ABS-CBN and the spin-off of 1990's "Goin' Bananas," which starred Edgar Mortiz, Johnny Delgado, Al Tantay, Christopher de Leon and the late Jay Ilagan.
