MANILA - Actor-host Luis Manzano and international Filipino artist Billy Crawford will host ABS-CBN's "Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT)," which is touted as the biggest talent search show in the country.

The confirmation was made by Kane Choa of ABS-CBN Corporate Communication.

"[Sina] Luis Manzano and Billy Crawford ang magiging host ng Pilipinas Got Talent," Choa said.

PGT is a reality television series patterned after the popular "Britain's Got Talent (BGT)" and "America's Got Talent."

Similar to other "Got Talent" series, the Philippine version of the talent show will also feature singers, dancers, magicians, comedians and other performers from all ages.

Filipino singer Madonna Decena, who rose to fame when she became one of BGT's semi-finalists, will be part of the show's primer.

In an interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com, Decena even suggested that Crawford can also act as one of the judges.

The "Got Talent" franchise is one of the fastest growing international franchises, spawning spin-offs in over 20 countries, according to Wikipedia. Other successful franchises are "The Weakest Link," "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?," "Dancing with the Stars" and "Pop Idol."

"Got Talent" is the latest franchise to be acquired by the Kapamilya network. It has also acquired the rights to air programs patterned after international shows "Big Brother" and "Deal or No Deal."
