Luis Manzano is PBB 'plus factor'

Television host and actor Luis Manzano is now officially one of the hosts of ABS-CBN's reality show "Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus."

"I was ecstatic noong sinabi sa akin noong nagmi-meeting ako with management. Tapos sinabi sa akin na you will be part of Pinoy Big Brother," Manzano told ABS-CBNNews.com during a press conference of PBB Teen Edition Plus held at 9501 Restaurant inside ABS-CBN compound.

"I am a fan of the show, second I love the people I'm working with and third it's a very, very good project na I'd love to be a part of," the newest host added.

Manzano even joked that he's being taken in by PBB in order for him to add class on the show--but then he turned serious and said that PBB would gain from having someone as wacky and active as him on the show.

"Loko lang iyong add ng class... siguro my personality na lang talaga. Siguro they are expecting me to be makulit at one point or another dahil kapag nomination din I will be with Mariel kapag nomination tapos kapag ni Toni ang magkasama. So just a bit of myself. Kung ano ang myself then we will have to see when I start working, Manzano said.

Manzano is considered as one of Kuya's "plus" factors for this season. He will join PBB's veteran hostsToni Gonzaga, Mariel Rodriguez and Bianca Gonzales.

Manzano already does hosting duties for several shows over ABS-CBN, including the weekly entertainment show "Entertainment Live", weekly variety show ASAP'08, and MYX

Despite all of those shows on his plate, Manzano still said that it's a dream come true for him to be part of the country's favorite reality program.

He is also set to have new shows and TV movie projects under network's film outfit Star Cinema.

Manzano with Toni Gonzaga will grace television screens everyday on "PBB Teen Edition Plus Primetime. The other hosts Mariel Rodriguez and Bianca Gonzalez will be seen on "PBB Teen Edition Plus Uber" and "PBB Teen Edition Plus Update."

"Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus primer will air this Sunday, March 16 at 9:45 in the evening, while the official second season will premiere on Sunday, March 23.

Luis Manzano (full name: Luis Philippe Santos Manzano) is the son of "Star for All Seasons" and incumbent Batangas provincial governor Vilma Santos to actor, TV host and Optical Media Board Chairman Edu Manzano. He is also the rumored boyfriend of ABS-CBN's contract star Angel Locsin of television series "Lobo."
