Nakausap ng ABS-CBN.com si Luis pagkatapos ng hosting stint nito sa ASAP'09 nu'ng Linggo at agad na itinanong kay Luis kung ano ang masasabi niya sa umano'y pagpapakasal nina OMB Chairman Edu Manzano at Pinky Webb. "Well, we haven't heard pa naman mula sa Dad ko or kay Pinky mismo, ang sa akin lang, until we hear from them, that's the time we should give our reactions," sabi pa ni Luis na, obviously ay nagugulat dahil pinapangunahan ng mga balita ang diumano'y pagpapakasal ng ama niya sa news anchor ng Dos. Based on his reactions and opinions, ABS-CBN.com asked Luis kung naiirita ba siya sa ganitong mga pangungutlit ng mga tao about his Dad's pagpapakasal again. "Hindi naman, Nakakatawa na people are exerting effort kahit wala pang naririnig na anything from the parties concerned." Agad na tinanong ng ABS-CBN.com kay Luis kung sila ba ni Angel Locsin ay hindi pa napag-uusapan ang tungkol sa kasal. Naging sentro rin ng usapin kamakailan ang biro ni Angel kay Luis nu'ng nasa isang location sila for an event. Sinabi ni Angel parang nasa isang reception daw sila ng kasal, something to that effect. "Nagbibiruan lang kami n'un. But yes, we are very much okay." Luis even said that things are even much better now between him and Angel. "Oh yeah, definitely. I'm very, very happy no. Kitang-kita naman. No need to expound on it." ABS-CBN.com also learned that the two are no longer celebrating their birthdays together in New York, sa kabila ng napaunang balita na ito ang first time nila sanang dalawa to be in the said destination abroad. Luis's birthday is on April 21 and Angel's is on April 23. "I will leave na lang on April 23 in the evening. So, that means, I will still be here on the 23'rd of midnight to spend time with her." Angel could no longer make it to New York since she will be busy taping for her new show, Only You. Luis on the other hand is looking forward to the movie everyone is waiting for. It's also his first time with his mom, great actress, Gov. Vilma Santos, who plays a masungit librarian in Star Cinema's new film with John Lloyd Cruz.
