| Luis Manzano thanks his best friend--his dad EduColumn: Entertainment Actor-host Luiz Manzano said he's very honored and happy to be the son of host-actor and Optical Media Board chairman Edu Manzano. In an interview of abs-cbnNEWS.com, Luis gladly talked about his relationship with his dad. "Barkada ko si Daddy which, kapag kailangan na ng respeto it comes just like that , pero he is a very, very cool dad," narrates Luis. Edu Manzano hosts several shows in ABS-CBN, including the game show "Pilipinas, Game KNB?" and the daily morning newsmagazine show "Umagang Kay Ganda." Luis said that both he and his father have busy schedules so they now struggle to find enough time for bonding. However, Luis said that he treasures the quick moments they are able to spend together in-between their showbiz commitments. "Hindi kami nakakalabas talaga. Basta iyon lang, iyong mga quick moments namin together, when we have to work together iyong mga ganoon iyon ang tini-treasure namin," Luis said. One of those "quick moments" Luis said, was an interview and pictorial they recently did for a magazine. Luis said that he will surely celebrate Father's Day on Sunday to honor his dad, whom he also considers his best friend. He said that his message on that day for Edu will be a huge, heart-felt "thank you." "A big, big thank you kasi wala na, ayaw ko nang pahabain. You know, more words can taken out of context. I won't sugarcoat it, napakadaming pwedeng idagdag. So, ang sa akin lang 'thank you and I love you so much'," said Luis. Luis Manzano (full name: Luis Philippe Santos Manzano) is the son of "Star for All Seasons" and incumbent Batangas provincial governor Vilma Santos to Edu Manzano.
