Follow the story of Maria or called Marichuy, a naughty young lady who plays modern-day Robin Hood by stealing goods for the benefit of the poor. Her mischievous generosity caused her trouble one day and landed her in court, where the judge wishes to send her to jail. This is where she crosses paths with doctor Juan Miguel who came to her rescue. Marichuy was released but must remain in the handsome widower's custody, thus from her humble orphanage, she must move into a classy mansion together with Juan Miguel's daughter and mother-in-law. The two grow closer as they live under one roof. Not only did they find a new friend, but they also found love in each other. But how can Juan Miguel show how he truly feels when Marichuy pushes him away? Little does he know that Marichuy was a victim of rape that is why she's afraid to open her heart to anyone. Will Marichuy give this love a chance? What if someone from her dark past return to haunt her? Don't miss the premiere of "Maria de Jesus" this Monday after "Precious Hearts Romances." After this, catch the back-to-back Asianovela treats "Love or Bread" and "Boys Over Flowers" only on ABS-CBN. (JRDB/Press release) Source: Sunstar Daily |
