Marian: Katrina is a good villain

Marian Rivera is currently in the thick of training for her next big show for GMA7, the new installment of Darna. It is said that this is Marian's biggest program to date in terms of casting, story line, production values and special effects so she wants to appear perfect for the role.

"Apart from my harness and wu shu lessons, I'm also going to the gym regularly and my trainer is strict (Dingdong Dantes). Yes, we go to the gym together lately and he's checking if I'm doing things properly. I appreciate his concern," she states.

This early, many are already excited with her latest program. For one, it'll be very different from Angel Locsin's version as it brings back all of Darna's popular foes like Babaeng Ahas, Babaeng Impakta, Babaeng Lawin and Babaeng Tuhod in the tradition of the old Darna flicks.

And speaking of Babaeng Ahas (or Valentina), how true is the rumor that she doesn't like Katrina Halili to play the part?

Marian acknowledges the fact that Katrina is excellent at villain roles.
