Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes start shooting for next project

Today, January 6, is the first official taping day of Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes for their upcoming soap opera Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang. This fantaserye is based on Carlo J. Caparas' obra that originally starred Vivian Velez and the late Eddie Rodriguez.

Directed by Bb. Joyce Bernal, Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Tadyang is about two people who act in the opposite sides of the spectrum. Marian is cast as the mysterious Proserfina, a woman who works for a syndicate. Meanwhile, Dingdong's character named Homer is on the side of good.

This project proves to be challenging for both Marian and Dingdong since they will star in this action-suspense-drama series, a genre that they have yet to try. It will be recalled that the taping of Hinugot was moved in order to allow Marian's fractured toe to heal completely. It is said that the female actress will be shooting scenes that will require her to jump around and run for several sequences.

In fact, the trailer of Hinugot shows a woman who climbs up a wall in order to creep quietly into the bedroom of Homer. Marian suddenly hugs a surprised looking Dingdong as they lie down in the same bed.

Angelu de Leon is also included in this GMA-7 project aside from being seen in the ABS-CBN afternoon comedyserye Parekoy. Other cast members include Paolo Contis, Francine Prieto, Jackie Rice, Mart Escudero, Carmi Martin, Carlene Aguilar and Eugene Domingo among others.

Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Tadyang is scheduled to air during the first week of February.
