Marian explains

Author: Mario E. Bautista

Marian Rivera feels bad that she was not able to make it as the leading lady of Vic Sotto and Dolphy in the movie they've started shooting yesterday, in Pasig. Some folks say she has become a swellhead and demanded a big talent fee.

"That's not true," she says. "We never talked about my talent fee when they got me as I owe a lot kay Mr. Tony Tuviera of APT Productions who's co-producing the movie with them, kasi he gave me the break in afternoon soaps at sa movies din in 'Enteng Kabisote 2'. Also, it's an honor for me na makasama ang kings of comedies sa ating bansa. Kaya lang, I gave them my schedule na makakapag-shoot ako bago mag-April after the ending of 'Marimar'.

Okay na sana at supposed to be, I'll shoot with them one-week straight. But na-delay ang shooting nila at nag-Holy Week pa. When they finally called me, nag-start na ako sa training and taping ko for 'Dyesebel'. "

Replacing her as the daughter of Dolphy who becomes Vic's love interest is former PBB housemate and Miss Earth Canada, Riza Santos.
