Modest wedding for Juday, Ryan

Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo are definitely walking down the aisle this year. This Ryan recently admitted although he didn't give any particular date.

"It's already near and we're both excited," he states.

Contrary to what showbiz kibitzers expect, their wedding will not be grand and lavish.

"It'll just be a very simple ceremony. It's actually a combination of church and civil wedding. We already asked Ms. Sharon Cuneta to be our matron of honor. Everyone knows that she's a close friend of Juday. My brother Dondi will act as the best man. We also have two pairs of godparents who are non-showbiz. "

Ryan also disclosed that he and Juday don't want the rites covered by any TV network.

"No TV crew or media photographer will be present during the wedding ceremony. But we hope for the kind understanding of everyone. It's our special day so we don't want to be harassed and get conscious with the flashing of cameras around. We want a relaxed and solemn ambience. We'll politely turn down any offer to cover our wedding. "

Ryan also confirmed that they won't go out of the country for their honeymoon.

"We don't want to lessen our budget for the house we are buying. It's located somewhere in the south. It's a cozy place with four bedrooms plus a den. It has a modest size, perfect for a starting couple like us," the good-looking TV host-actor proudly sums up.

MARIAN, DINGDONG MORE AGGRESSIVE

"ANG Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang" is said to be the last TV project of Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera before they are paired by their home studio, GMA-7 with other stars in their stable. In fact, they appear more relaxed and natural in their kissing scenes here compared to their previous works, Marimar and Dyesebel.

For Marian, her new character is challenging since its requirements are different from her first two starrers.

"Actually, Dong and I are breathing life to mature parts. It requires me to be mysterious, sexy, agile and full of angst all at the same time. As Proserfina, I have to be on my toes all the time," the lovely star stresses.

The same holds true for Dingdong.

"In Marimar and Dyesebel, I play the aggressive part. Here, it's Marian. But as the soap progresses, there will be a great change in my character, Homer. From leading an organized and almost perfect life, his path crosses with Proserfina. As he gets involved with her, his life turns topsy-turvy," reveals the handsome actor.

Based on the show's trailer, they have some sexy scenes in the series.

"Well, yes, like I have a scene where I'll wear a two-piece swimsuit. Dingdong has a shower scene where viewers can see his abs and broad shoulders. These scenes are needed to further establish our characters," informs Marian.

As to the $64 question if their screen tandem now extends off cam, Dingdong explains, "We go out on dates now, like dinner or watching movies but definitely, we're not on. Let's wait for the right time and feeling. You can't plan when it comes to matters like this. "

"Dong and I are very comfortable with each other. Let us enjoy this set-up first especially now that the negative rumors about us are already subsiding. If it's really us in the end, it'll just come, right?" she ends.
