Column: Entertainment Actress Mylene Dizon gave birth Wednesday afternoon to a healthy 6.11 pound-boy in a hospital in Chicago, United States.
"Fourteen hours (akong nag-labor) but I was only pushing for less than 30 minutes, so I felt the whole thing and I want it over," Dizon told SNN:Showbiz News Ngayon" during a phone interview.
Dizon said she named the boy Lucas Angel Paraiso. The boy is Dizon's second son with ex-boyfriend Paolo Paraiso.
Dizon, a former cast of ABS-CBN's hit television series "Tayong Dalawa," said Lucas Miguel weighed "6.11 lbs and 19 inches long."
She promised to show her youngest son to SNN upon her return to Manila.
In a separate interview with Paraiso, the model-actor explained that they named their son Lucas Miguel because Lucas means "light."
"Lucas meaning 'light,' siya ang light namin. So 'yon ang na-decide namin," he said.
