A big Sunday crowd almost stopped the filming of an LRT scene last October 28 of a big scene of the movie Batanes at LRT Doroteo Jose station at Sta. Cruz.

"Nabulabog ang eksena," an eye-witness told us.

"Unang tagpo `yon nina Iza Calzado at Joem Bascon. Naagawan ng cellphone si Iza at sa habulan ay nagbanggaan sila. Naisip ni Iza na kasabwat ng snatcher si Joem."

Later love bloomed between them which ultimately brought them to the scenic island-province of Batanes. Adolfo Alix, Jr. calls it a few days of vacation for cast and staff.

However, on November 4 there will be an extra day of shoot for Iza and Ken Zhu either back in Batanes or in a luxury island cove.

Direk Adolfo Alix, Jr., is a busy filmmaker. His Donsol is at the Oscars foreign film competition, while his Nars had its special preview at Cagayan de Oro, Philippine Nurse Association Day, last Sept. 27, set for regular run in November.

His Batanes is winding up soon while his earlier movie Tambolista for Cinema One Original now in the can with Maling Akala is set for November screening at Greenbelt 3. Presscon today.

Tambolista is about a teenager whose obsession is a drumset and stars Jiro Manio, Coco Martin, Sid Lucero and Ricky Davao.

Adolfo's Tambolista and Veronica Velaso and Pablo Madlangawa's Maling Akala are the early finishers for the COO.

Makisig Morales continues to be Super Inggo in the second series, but would you believe that it will be titled Super Inggo 1.5 with Gilbert Perez. And the third one series soon coming up too will be titled Super Inggo 2, this time to be directed by Malou Sevilla for ABS-CBN.

Kapamilya has a show for the new White Castle Gemma Gatdula. She is cast in Kungfu Kids with Allen Dizon as her partner. In this new show which has a lot of kids in the cast are Asia Agacoili, Mickey Ferriols, Sid Lucero, Wowie de Guzman, Jhong Hilario and Gerard Pizarras.

Erich Gonzales has two PBB companions in the cast: Gian and Jayson Gainza and Arlene Muchlach. Taping is three times a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
