New model better than Dingdong?

Author: Bong De Leon
Column: Check It Out

THE corporate and serene ambience of the Blue Waters Day Spa at C3 Events Place in Greenhills didn't stop nosey reporters to ask intriguing questions.

First, when asked about Karylle replacing Marian Rivera as the company's new female endorser, Blue Waters exec Nancy Go explained that Karylle has been their long-time customer and it's wiser to get someone who has tried their services and is satisfied with it. We all know that Karylle was Dingdong Dantes' girlfriend until Marian came in to the picture. Second, when they were asked why not Dingdong instead of Brazilian-Japanese model Akihiro Sato as new male endorser, VP Francis Ryan Simisim blurted out: "We want someone better. "

It could be debatable for some, but what's important is the services they offer. A lot of tired executives love to pamper themselves after a hard day's work and Blue Waters Day Spa is one place they love to relax in. Aside from the basic massage, they also offer high-end beauty services of which techniques are imported.

By the way, Blue Waters Day Spa also offer spa management consultancy, manpower souring, and customized spa experience through franchising opportunities.

JUSTICE OR JUST TIIS?
THURSDAY'S Senate hearing of the Katrina Halili-Hayden Kho sex video scandal turned out to be real drama replete with tears and action. Some see it as a sweet love story turned sour. When former policeman and Pagsanjan mayor, Abner Afuang poured water on Hayden, there suddenly was action. Afuang, who's exploits as a crimebuster had been filmed, starring Phillip Salvador, said he remembered his daughter in the US when he saw Katrina crying.

Afuang was brought to Pasay City jail and had to stay there for a night. He said that if he's jailed, he'd stage another hunger strike. Well, he has done this several times and we don't know if it would still be effective now.

Senators Jamby Madrigal, Jinggoy Estrada and Bong Revilla took turns in grilling the former lovers. We know that the Senate has good intentions for the inquiry, but we hope it doesn't become another futile exercise. We remember the case of Jojo Veloso where several persons were put to public scrutiny. But it ended that the supposed victims were the ones ostracized. And what about Jun Lozada?

We hope they get the justice they deserve and not just tiis in the end.
