| No additional talent fee for Richard?Author: Aster Amoyo THE projects of Richard Gutierrez are getting bigger and bigger. Wilma Galvante, one of the top executives of GMA 7, said that "Codename: Asero" is the most expensive project to date of GMA7. She said the production team had to convince GMA 7 top honcho Atty. Felipe Gozon that the staggering budget for "Codename: Asero" is worth it. Of course, Richard is flattered with the tremendous support being given him by the GMA7 management. Since he started with the GMA network, he has been given the best projects, starting with "Mulawin," "Captain Barbell," "Sugo," and "Kamandag. " And he has every reason to be proud of "Codename: Asero" since it's the biggest and most expensive project to date of GMA in terms of cast, location and budget. That's why he promised to do everything to make the first ever sci-fi romantic movie on primetime TV a good one as it premieres on July 14, at the GMA Telebabad block. In the credits, Richard's name is listed as the series' fight director and the young actor admits that he contributed a number of great ideas for the action scenes. But he wouldn't say if he's getting additional talent fee for being the fight director. He says its part of the package that he entered when he renewed his contract with GMA7. That he also serves as fight director makes Richard all the more enthusiastic to go into training of various martial arts. He wouldn't want to use a double in the stunts and action scenes. He wants to do it himself. "We are careful naman with the things that we do. We make sure that everything is safe," he added.
