Richard Gomez and his wife Lucy Torres-Gomez escorted Ben Chan, the owner of Bench, at the finale of the Bench fashion show held at the Araneta Coliseum last Friday night.

Richard was the very first image model of Bench when it started 19 years ago and the actor is mighty proud that the Bench family has grown.

"Every time there is a Bench fashion show, the celebrity models of Bench get bigger in number. The family keeps growing. At the same time, a new concept is always presented and each show gets bigger and bigger. As a matter of fact, the list of models that participated in the fashion is getting longer," says the actor.

Richard says he's very excited for Bench and for the models, as well as for the audience who had been supporting the product all these years.

"It's a beautiful relationship that Ben Chan and I established with Bench. It paved the way for celebrities to have endorsements. It has opened a lot of doors in the industry. Kung anuman ang nasimulan namin sa Bench, I am very happy it has trickled down to our industry. A lot of people are enjoying and benefiting from what we have started. Kung minsan may konting gusot pero lahat naman ay naayos," he added.

REYMOND COMES HOME

AFTER winning a big honor in the international scene, Reymond Sajor is set to make big waves back home. This month, he is releasing his debut album under Songstream Music, exclusively distributed by Sony BMG.

"Reymond Sajor: Coming Home," is produced by Gerard Salonga, with one track co-produced by Vehnee Saturno. The carrier single of the same title was composed by Nashville-based Andrew Fromm, who has also written songs for the Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, Westlife and Marc Anthony. Other tracks include a popular remake of "Be My Lady," "Nella Fantasia," popularized by Sarah Brightman and Il Divo, Reymond's winning piece "Anthem," and original compositions by California-based Fil-Am Ritchie Lapaz. The album has flavors of pop and alternative, injected with ballads. Though Reymond is a balladeer, some of the tracks are more upbeat, showcasing his range in music. Another highlight of the album is the combination of orchestra and band to offset his vocals.

The release promises to bring something fresh to the local music scene. With a winning combination of talent, drive, strong faith and a great personality, Reymond can look forward to a bright future in music.
