WHEN one talks of outrageous comedy films, the name of Bb. Joyce Bernal will top the list. Who would ever forget the character of Booba as essayed by Joyce's favorite star, Rufa Mae Quinto? Only Bernal could mount a funny and silly scenario which would require the lead character to do the unexpected--- all in the name of laughter.

Expect more of this in Kimmy Dora which is the launching movie of comedienne Eugene Domingo. She plays a twin whose personalities are the exact opposite of each other. As Kimmy, she is sharp and brilliant while Dora is a pushover. Kimmy has an evil streak which Eugene plays to the hilt while Dora is Mother Teresa incarnate. Riot explodes when a handsome man in the person of Dingdong Dantes comes into the life of the two sisters.

Kimmy Dora is produced by actor Piolo Pascual whose first offering "Manila" bombed at the tills. We sincerely hope that Kimmy Dora will not suffer the same fate.

Eugene is not showing any sign of pressure considering that a big chunk of responsibility lies on her shoulder.

"I don't feel the pressure kasi maraming sumusuporta. Pero baka ma-feel ko ito sa opening day ng pelikula. I try to be very positive. Kimmy Dora is both a gift and a blessing as far as I am concerned. My director has a track record of hits and this is already an advantage. I am also excited dahil sa full support na ibinigay ni Dingdong Dantes . Wala na siguro akong mahihiling pa. Dual roles na, gwapo at hunk pa ang aking leading man. At kung kailanganing magrosaryo ako ng limang beses a day para kumita ang movie eh gagawin ko,"the talented comedienne says.
