THE last evictee in the "Pinoy Big Teen Edition Plus" is Italian-Filipino, Alex. That leaves Robi (a favorite to take the top slot), Ejay, Nicole and Beauty as the Big Four in tonight's grand finals at the Big Dome.

Despite being evicted, Alex feels good that a lot of people are saying that he is the one who's likely to make it as a star. He has the qualities, except that he cannot speak good Tagalog.

He wants to stay in Manila for good. He will enroll here to take up Engineering. "Life in Milan isn't as exciting as here," he says.

Like Alex, Nan and Valerie also want to stay in Manila and wait for showbiz opportunities. Well, let's see what will happen to these showbiz wannabes.
RIZAL'S LEGACY ON DVD

WHAT if Jose Rizal were alive? But he is. Rizal is alive as a training program that aims to imbue participants with tenets of leadership, character building and sense of nationalism. Focusing on Filipino leadership excellence that follows Rizal's values and standards, the training program becomes a way of revisiting history and deepening awareness about our national hero.

But more than that, it is a tool in positively committing the youth to responsibly face the challenges now and of the future.

Trainings were conducted nationwide commencing 2005 to the present, through the cooperative institutions, namely the Knights of Rizal, the Rizal Youth Leadership institute (KOR-RYLI), the Organizational Change Consultants Int'l Inc. (OCCI) and DepEd, which produced the instructional materials in DVD. Knowledge Channel provided the technical expertise.

The initial users of the DVD interactive materials are the Youth Coordinators of Kabataang Pangarap ni Rizal (Kapariz), the official youth arm of the Order of the Knights of Rizal. The target audiences are varied-the educators, the youth, the business community and everybody who aspires to be an agent of positive change. The official interactive DVD launch is on June 17 at Rizal Shrine Fort Santiago with cocktails at 5 p. m.
